Job Description

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions: • Assist the Supervisor in providing support and direction with daily operations. • Train team members on assembly operations and documentation (ie. Set-ups, day-by-the-hour, etc.). • Act as a Safety Advocate: Mentor employees on safe practices and help identify and correct safety risks with appropriate support personnel. • Serve as the Liaison between Machinist, Secondary Ops and Laborers to Engineering, Maintenance, Production Planning and other support personnel. • Serve as the Go-To Person for Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery Issues throughout the operation. • Assist in deploying lean and quality initiatives. • Assist Supervisors with employee reviews • Assist team members with problem solving issues to help decrease downtime. • Work closely with support personnel and serve as a representative to employees when needed. • Assist supervisor in other administrative tasks as required. Education/Experience: • 90 days of employment with Parker Hannifin preferred • 2 years of assembly/warehouse experience preferred • 2 years previous supervisory/leadership experience preferred • Willing to attend job related continuous education • Demonstrated leadership skills • Proficient computer skills • Able to effectively work with people in a team environment • Possess strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Physical Requirements: • Moderate physical effort consisting of: o Frequently lifting or moving material up to 35 pounds.
